The ESB DB2-8 is an 8"/200 mm high-efficiency mid-woofer from the DB Burn Series — the larger sibling of the DB2-6.5, delivering more cone area, deeper bass extension, and higher output capability for demanding SQL and SPL front stage applications. Sold individually. The 8" chassis provides meaningfully more cone area than a 8" — a physical advantage that translates directly to output efficiency at low to mid bass frequencies. Combined with the DB Series' high-efficiency motor construction, the DB2-8 is designed to operate at high power levels continuously without the thermal compression that limits lesser drivers under sustained competition or high-SPL playback conditions. Sold individually — order two for a stereo front stage. The DB2-8 pairs naturally with high-power Zapco ST-X III or Z-II mono and multichannel amplifiers for a complete Italian-engineered high-output system.
